Crafting a Job-Winning Curriculum Vitae

Often times the term Curriculum Vitae (C.V.) is interchanged or even confused with the word Resumé. Resumés are usually shorter and reflect a summary of your skills, educational qualification and work experiences (2 pages or less). C.V.s tend to be broader and a bit more descriptive reflecting one’s academic achievements, research publications, honours etc (usually 2 pages or more).

National Geographic's Top 10 National Dishes - Jamaica Cops the #2 Spot

The tiny, yet “tallawah”, island of Jamaica copped the #2 spot in the Top 10 National Dishes around the world for its national dish “Ackee and Salt Fish”. Although neither ingredient has Jamaican origin, this is one of the most authentic dishes of the island which still holds true to the tradition of rich spices and flavors.
Ackee, Jamaica’s national fruit, is poisonous unless the pods open naturally on the tree. They are usually washed, pitted, and boiled for a few minutes before it is cooked with the salt fish. You can usually find tinned ackees in the Caribbean section of your grocery store – these just need to be rinsed, not boiled. READ MORE

Through the discussion sessions, you will find that staff can learn leadership skills and art of negotiation. For staff from different departments, it can be a great way for you to get to know each other better outside a work scenario whilst for those already in a team, it will help greatly to build and cement bonds.
